Kinitiras participated in one more Erasmus+ program, this time in Spain!

SEX Educ’Accion: Healthy Sexual Affective Education. The project “Sex Educ’accion” is a seminar that took place in the summer 2022 in the Colegio de Ortigosa in Ortigosa de Cameros, La Rioja, with the participation of 4 different associations.

The project was born after noticing how the scholar system had let the youth down on different levels, but especially concerning sexual education. Drama and artistic expression being in general a safe space and bubble of freedom in their everyday lives, it only seems fair to adapt a project that would encourage spreading the good word and dismantle myths that have been spreaded.

The main aim of the project was to gather youth workers in a safe space in order to create a discussion between youth workers concerning the faults in our youth´s sexual education, introducing different experiences, questions, and possible changes. During the seminar, youth workers, facilitators, trainers and others shared their good practices in drama and other performing arts to tackle topics such as sexuality, gender identity, gender equality, STDs, etc. with a group of young people.
