In this workshop we will approach the movement through the observation of the details and the isolation of body parts.
Any small movement of the body, or part of it, will gradually evolve to a kinetic combination that will be placed throughout the entire space. The small, the imperceptible, the minimum will be the core of the investigation, using the release technique, placing the body in every possible position and combining our expressive and physical abilities.
The workshop is aimed at professionals and amateur dancers, students preparing for the exams at Higher Professional dance schools (improvisation lesson), actors, dance therapists, and anyone involved in movement regardless of technical training.
Persa Stamatopoulou was born in Athens. She studied classical and modern dance in France, where also attended workshops of different techniques of contemporary dance with renowned dancers and choreographers, (Lario Eksson, Bruno de Dizian, Christine Bastin, Mark Tompkins, Dominique Duzinski etc.) and participated as a dancer in two groups of contemporary dance.
