After the successful performances in Athens and Aegina, Kinitiras Youth continues its lifelong education as members of the group travel to Isparta, Turkey at the end of July, to participate in the Erasmus+ programme Akana, organised by our permanent partner from Ireland, Crooked House.

This training programme is named after the Turkish goddess of creation, Ak Ana. It aims to train participants in ways that they can enable young people to create their own performances. Experienced youth theatre practitioners will share their methods and skills with participants who either wish to begin working in youth theatre, or who would like to adapt their acting skills to working with young people who are not actors.
