Aria Boumpaki and Maya M. Carroll: Dialogue
Presentation 30/9/2018 at 21.00
Following their encounter last year at Kinitiras, Aria and Maya’s residency will be a sharing of insights, conversations and dances.
Both working as independent artists, their meeting sparked a wish to exchange practices and become involved in each other’s approach to body and movement, presence and performance.
This residency will be a vehicle for merging and exploring the possibility of a mutual language through the embodiment of words, intuition and mind travelling. It is based on collaborative work, sharing of stories, tuned physicality and image-experimentation.
After six days of work, a public showing will be offered on September 30th.
