An interactive media installation of Joo-Kwan Song and a performance in collaboration with Barbara Bardaka.
“How do we recognize our presence?”
During this week of residency, JOO and Barbara will have a common focus on “Journey through Time” to excavate potential aesthetics for Presence in the platform of interactive installation, performance and video archives. JOO has designed an interactive digital algorithm to realize temporal superposition of past and present image frames from subjects. Different subjects in various places of Athens will be chosen for this algorithm, and all the experimentation of this work will be archived as video recordings. On the final day of the residency, JOO and Barbara will have a presentation with the field video works and an interactive performance in the studio of Kinitiras.
