In 2026, Kinitiras will launch the Ignition Erasmus+ program in collaboration with the Irish organization Crooked House and organizations from Spain and Turkey.

P.Morout: intergenerational workshop
The lifelong learning group Kinitiras Ω, is opening its doors on Tuesday 16/12/25, 10.30-13.30 inviting people of all ages who want to experience Kinitiras’ energy and learn about Penelope’s Morout practices.
Kinitiras: open meeting/rehearsal
A kinetic- and not only- open rehearsal, as part of the meetings of the Kinitiras dancetheatre life-long learning group on how I can express through my body the idea of coming out, of sharing, with choreographer Antigone Gyra.

2025-26: A year full of surprises, twists and turns, and a focus on both introspection and extroversion.
Zurich: Inside out and Outside in
Antigone Gyra will travel to Zurich, Switzerland for a two-day workshop at the Greek-speaking theatre group, Terrasse Ensemble, and whoever else wants to step in, where she will try out in a mixed group many of the proposed practical applications.
Athens: Inside out and Outside in
With the support of the J. F. Costopoulos Foundation, in September 2025, a four-day series of workshops, screenings, open discussion circles based on the practice of Antigone Gyra will take place at Technourgeio in Athens.
Akana – Erasmus+ program
After the successful performances in Athens and Aegina, Kinitiras Youth continues its lifelong education as members of the group travel to Isparta, Turkey at the end of July, to participate in the Erasmus+ programme Akana, organised by our permanent partner from Ireland, Crooked House.
Zitsa: Inside out and Outside in
Starting from the village of Zitsa in Ioannina, where Antigone Gyra comes from, she will organize in July 2025 a training workshop for the local community, which consists of professionals and people of different ages with little experience in the field of performing arts.
Inside out and Outside in
With the support of the J. F. Costopoulos Foundation, Antigone Gyra will offer free of charge to professionals and amateurs of the performing arts workshops, lectures and screenings based on the methodology of movement that she has developed through her practice and continuous study and training over the last 30 years.
2024-25: Spirituality
This year’s thematic umbrella of Kinitiras is Spirituality. We have chosen to frame our actions this year through the broad prism that this concept offers in the perception of life and art.
