On Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the lifelong learning group Kinitiras (dancetheatre), coordinated by choreographer Antigone Gyra, will open its doors to anyone interested in dancing, play, share, and chat about the broader idea of “coming out,” that is, the “expression” of individual experiences and preferences, which is this year’s theme of performance research.

The first part will consist of a gentle group warm-up with exercises and games, the second part will consist of movement improvisations based on given choreographic scores that have emerged from the group’s work until now, and in the third part, the group will present material for feedback from the “visitors.”

Through these educational meetings-rehearsals, the creative process of the group remains open to feedback, while there is a constant channel of communication with the community, alternating between the roles of performer-audience-creator. Come and “play dance” with us!
